Peoples Natural Gas
Peoples Natural Gas has served customers in southwestern Pennsylvania since 1885, and its history extends to the earliest days of the natural gas industry in the United States. Peoples provide service from the Transmission system to the Distribution system to the customer’s meter.
Peoples Natural Gas understand that sometimes it can be difficult to pay your gas bill. Peoples offer a variety of programs for customers on limited or fixed incomes, or who may have special needs.
West Penn Power
West Penn Power provides every aspect of your electric service. This included generating the electricity and delivering it to your home or business.
Duquesne Light has assistance options to help reduce your electricity bill, pay off your account balances in installments and helps in maintaining or restoring your electric service.
Pennsylvania American Water H2O (Help to Others)
Pennsylvania American Water helps customers to pay the balance of your bill over time.
If you are eligible for LIHEAP, you must apply for it BEFORE applying for this grant.

If your household income is NOT more than two times (200%) the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.

Allegheny Lead Safe Homes
The Allegheny Lead Safe Homes Program provides FREE lead paint testing and home repairs to keep families safe from lead paint.
Pittsburgh Habitat for Humanity
Pittsburgh Habitat for Humanity offers several affordable home repair programs designed to help low-income homeowners. Repairs are completed primarily through the efforts of our volunteers, with green and sustainable building practices used whenever possible.
Hosanna Industries build and repair homes for needy households; mobilize relief workers to areas of disaster; teach and lead workshops in art and spirituality; train young people in construction skills; and lead volunteers of all ages.

Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh provide low-income homeowners with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy-efficient upgrades.

with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Counseling services are provided to clients free of charge.
Action Housing Weatherization Assistance Programs

The Action Housing Weatherization Assistance Program is a federally-funded program that provides eligible homeowners and renters with free-of-charge weatherization services, which refers to the process of reducing the amount of air infiltration into and out of the home.
