    HACP plays a vital role in providing housing opportunities in the City of Pittsburgh. HACP manages several thousand housing units in community settings, high rises and scattered sites around the City. Additionally, many privately owned housing units are provided through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

We have launched programs to facilitate resident self-sufficiency and create homeownership opportunities. Bedford Hill

A family community offering a mix of low-income rental units, market rate rental units and for sale units in a newly revitalized section of the Hill District offerigin 351 units of affordable housing. Bedford Hill was designed with the intent of helping to re-incorporate a mixture of the same diverse levels of income that existed during the heyday of the Hill into the HACP resident population. Bedford Hill includes a total of 180 public housing units. The community features 18 accessible units, 2 homeownership (for sale) units, and 12 UFAS units.
