Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh Public Notice of FY 2024 Revised Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)

In accordance with federal law and regulation, the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) is revising its Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP). The proposed date of implementation is August 1, 2024, except for the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) revisions, which will be implemented either January 1, 2025, or later depending upon receipt of the applicable software updates per PIH Notice 2023-27.

The proposed revisions to the Public Housing ACOP are available for review and comment from Sunday, June 9, 2024, to Tuesday, July 9, 2024, on the HACP website: www.hacp.org. To review the Public Housing ACOP in its current form, please visit: https://hacp.org/about/public-information/.

Written comments on the proposed revisions must be addressed to “Attention: HACP FY 2024 Public Housing ACOP” at the HACP Asset Management Department, 412 Boulevard of the Allies, 7th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, and must be received by the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Public comments were also accepted during two virtual public hearings held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
