HACP to Open Christopher Smith Terrace Waiting List for Seniors on Jan. 7, 2026

Effective at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) will be accepting pre-applications online ONLY for the following community:

• Christopher Smith Terrace – (1- and 2-bedroom units only) – 2829 Bedford Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
*These units require the head of household, spouse, or co-head of household to be at least 62 years of age.

Not all households will be eligible for the specific bedroom size units listed, as the age, gender, relationships, and number of household members affect the number of bedrooms for which a household is eligible.

Pre-applications for the above community will be accepted online ONLY at: www.hacp.org and can be submitted from any computer, laptop, or smartphone with internet access. No pre-applications will be accepted before 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Printed pre-applications will not be available at any of the HACP properties or offices.

Position on the waiting list will be determined based upon the date and time the completed pre-application is accepted by the online system.
