HACP manages several thousand housing units in community settings, high rises and scattered sites around the City. Additionally, many privately owned housing units are provided through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Closing of Low-Income Public Housing Waiting Lists

May 20, 2015

Effective Friday, May 22, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) will close all waiting lists for the Low Income Public Housing Program. The waiting lists will remain closed until 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

No pre-applications will be accepted for ANY Low Income Public Housing community waiting list between Friday, May 22, 2015, 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 14, 2015, 7:59 a.m.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. the HACP will re-open the waiting lists for the Low Income Public Housing Program, and will resume accepting pre-applications for all Public Housing Community waiting lists.
