HACP manages several thousand housing units in community settings, high rises and scattered sites around the City. Additionally, many privately owned housing units are provided through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

HACP Hosts Senior & Tenant Leadership Thanksgiving Luncheon

PITTSBURGH – The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) will honor the efforts of its resident leadership during the agency’s annual Senior Citizen and Tenant Leadership Thanksgiving Luncheon, on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, 11 a.m., the Foyer of the Carnegie Music Hall.

The luncheon will be staffed by volunteers from the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh and the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh.

“It’s our way of saying thank you to the leaders of our communities,” said Michelle Jackson, Chief Community Affairs Officer of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh. “They pour their hearts and souls into making their neighborhoods friendly, safe and secure. We owe a lot to them and this luncheon is a small token of our gratitude.”
