HACP to Open Multiple Project-Based Voucher Site-Based Waitlists on Monday, April 29, 2024

OPENING OF WAITING LISTS

 

Effective Monday, April 29, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. until Friday, May 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) will be accepting pre-applications online ONLY for the following Project-Based Voucher Site-Based Communities:

• Cornerstone Village – (1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units only) – 185 Larimer Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
• Dinwiddie Street Housing – (1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units only) – 301 Dinwiddie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
• Elmer Williams Square – (3-bedroom units only) – 534 Elmer Williams Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
• Middle Hill Homes – (2- and 3-bedroom units only) – 385 Elmore Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
• Sycamore Street Apartments – (1-bedroom units only) – 124 W. Sycamore Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15211.
  *These units require the head of household to be at least 55 years of age.

Not all households will be eligible for the specific bedroom size units listed for each of the communities, as the age, gender, relationships and number of household members affects the number of bedrooms for which a household is eligible. Income and eligibility restrictions of the Housing Choice Voucher Program apply.

Pre-applications for the above communities will be accepted online ONLY at: www.hacp.org and can be submitted from any computer, laptop, or smartphone with internet access. No pre-applications will be accepted before 8:00 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2024, or after 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2024. Printed pre-applications will not be available at any of the HACP properties or offices.

Position on the waiting list/s will be determined based upon date and time the completed pre-application/s is/are accepted by the online system.

This event is for Project-Based Vouchers for Cornerstone Village, Dinwiddie Street Housing, Elmer Williams Square, Middle Hill Homes and Sycamore Street Apartments ONLY and is completely separate from the HACP Housing Choice Voucher and Low-Income Public Housing Programs.

CLOSING OF WAITING LIST

 

Effective Friday, May 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., the HACP will close the following Project-Based Voucher Program waiting list:

• Cedarwood Homes

No pre-applications will be accepted for this waiting list after the closing date and time. Public Notice will be provided when the HACP determines to reopen this specific waiting list.
