    HACP plays a vital role in providing housing opportunities in the City of Pittsburgh. HACP manages several thousand housing units in community settings, high rises and scattered sites around the City. Additionally, many privately owned housing units are provided through the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Closing Of Allegheny Dwellings & Homewood North LIPH Waitlists

February 24, 2026

Effective Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., the HACP will close the following Low Income Public Housing Program waiting lists:

Allegheny Dwellings
Homewood North

No pre-applications will be accepted for these waiting lists after the closing date and time. Public Notice will be provided when the HACP determines to re-open these specific waiting lists.
